The site we would like to feature today is still at a somewhat experimental stage, but definitely worth sharing with your class! THE ECO ZOO is a somewhat wacky, offbeat English/Japanese flash feature which younger learners will love exploring. It features a treehouse with various levels inhabited by quirky creatures, all offering a lesson about environmental conservation, in - wait for it - a virtual pop-up book! Although the bagworm's contribution has us baffled, the kangaroo and the angler fish provide lovely resources for lively discussion in a foundation phase science or environmental education lesson.
THE ECO ZOO can be found at http://www.ecodazoo.com/
Enjoy!

Excellent Natural Science site
Hi everyone,
do notice the excellent Natural Science resource we have added to our NS links: http://www.arkiveeducation.org/ .This free site has been designed especially with science and geography education in mind and contains the most fantastic presentations and multimedia for use by students of all ages.
We have started to raise a little awareness about our blog, and will be updating links on a weekly basis from now on. Be sure to return and browse new links for use in your classrooms or homework hours!
Kind regards,
Melinda van Zyl.

Helpful links for teachers
We intend this site to be a free resource of links to great educational sites that we've come across and used in the classroom. Feel free to comment or draw our attention to sites that you find inappropriate or out of order. Parents often ask how to help with homework, or simply do not have time to search for resources online. We hope to provide a resource that will make homework fun, make life easier for home-schoolers and teachers, and to greatly expand the sites listed here as time goes by. Watch this space for more exciting sites in days to come.
Hope this week will be a great one!

Welcome to our blog!

As an extension of our services to all of our satisfied customers, we are delighted to announce the launch of our very own blog. We hope hereby to provide a portal through which we can disseminate more information about how to improve the reading of all adults and children working on our programme, as well as publish tips about how to get the most out of its use. Watch this space for excellent reading related info from the South African company with the most experience in reading improvement! Of course we value your feedback, so don't hesitate to post comments or questions and we'll get back to you before you know it. Looking forward to hearing from you,
